The Volusia 100 Club has being serving our community since 2005. It was brought into existence by then Sheriff Ben Johnson requesting help from Mr. Thomson and others in establishing the organization.  The purpose of our club is to provide a $10,000.00 cash benefit to the surviving family members of any law enforcement officer or firefighter who is killed “in the line of duty” while serving in Volusia and Flagler Counties. These funds are made available to the family in the first 24 hours of the officer or firefighter’s death. We are a Florida registered Not-for-Profit Corporation, comprised of a group of local citizens, businessmen and women and civic organizations all gathered together to serve a vital need in our community.

Why we serve

Most of our police and firefighters are living paycheck to paycheck. We are there to step in and help the family until any pension, possible life insurance or other benefits become available. These other benefits take a minimum of a month, and usually take two or more months to occur. This immediate cash benefit from us is meant as a means of giving the family a certain peace of mind while they are going through this very trying time in their lives.

Join us in making sure an organized effort is always waiting in the wings to serve the families of those who have served us. Our law enforcement officers and firefighters stand willingly, every day to make the ultimate sacrifice in their efforts to protect our families, our homes and our businesses. Let’s work to make sure they are properly equipped and protected and in worse case, let’s be there for their families when they need us most.
